Emergencies and acute problems are seen as necessary during office hours. You will be given instructions day or night by calling (212) 717-1773. Please call with routine questions and problems during office hours Monday thru Friday between 9-5, so that your records are available for review. Prescription refills are accepted only during office hours.

If you can't reach the doctor, please call the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital at (212) 838-9200 and ask for the resident on call. He/she should page Dr. Josephson. If you are not in the general area, you should go to the local emergency room and have a physician there contact Dr. Josephson.

It is the policy of this office to expect payment in full at the time of rendered service. Fees are the usual, reasonable and customary fees for our specialty in this area. However, all insurance companies have their own fee schedules depending on your particular policy and this may be higher or lower than your fees, even though they call it reasonable and customary. The patient is generally responsible for our fee.

In addition, we do participate with Medicare and these patients need apply co-payments in accordance with governmental guidelines.

Financial arrangements may be made through of our office staff. If you have any special needs, it is important to speak with the office staff so that we my help you. Please feel free to discuss payments as it is out policy to render quality medical care regardless of payments arrangements.
